By car Driving from the UK is feasible in two days with a single night’s stop somewhere north of the Italian border (eg Geneva); however, it is more comfortable to do the drive in three days with two nights en route. By air Ancona (Falconara) airport is the nearest at about one hour’s drive from the house: Ryan Air do very cheap direct flights from Stansted. From other UK airports Ryanair, Easyjet, Alitalia and BA offer direct flights to destinations such as Pescara (2hrs to Camerino), Rome (3hrs), Bologna (3hrs), Pisa (4hrs) and Milan (5hrs). The easiest way to get to Camerino from an Italian airport is to hire a car. Hertz offer special rates for Ryan Air customers. There are trains to Camerino (station: Camerino-Castelraimondo) from many Italian cities. There is also a direct coach service from Rome and Florence to Camerino. On booking we will send you detailed directions for getting to Camerino and the house. |
